Fanny Koutzarova was born in 1971 in Sofia.
Her piano education started at the age of five.
In 1990 she successfully completed her studies from the National Music School "L.Pipkov".There she was a student of prof. Bogomil Starshenov, prof. Liuba Encheva and prof. Milena Mollova.
In 1996 she graduated from the Bulgarian National Academy of Music "P.Vladigerov". She completed her Master degree at the class of prof. Milena Mollova. She also studied Chamber Music at the class of prof. Victor Chuchkov. She attended prof. Oxana Yablonskaya’ and prof. Vera Gornostaeva’ piano master classes, as well as prof. Konstantino Mastropremiani’ Master class of chamber music.
Her first recital was at the age of 12. For the first time she played with the orchestra of the National Radio at the age of 13.
She had played premiers of Bulgarian, Swedish and Israeli music.
In 1997 the National Radio recorded in concert her first playing of Unknown Bulgarian music by Vasil Bojinov and Menahem Bensusan – a premier for the country.
The Bulgarian National Television, the private "7 Days" TV, other TV stations and again the Bulgarian National Radio recorded in concerts her playing in the years to follow.
Fanny Koutzarova’s repertoire consists of Piano and Chamber music (different styles and ages). She won many prizes in a lot of international competitions in Bulgaria and abroad.
In 2004 Fanny Koutzarova and Rossen Balkanski played Duo Cembalo and Classical Guitar for the first time in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian National Radio recorded in concert their Baroque Music Series, held at the most prestigious "Bulgaria Concert Hall".
Their repertoire consists of pieces of different styles and composers as Gordani, Vivaldi, Carlos de Seixas, Boccherini, Tedescо, Leo Brаuwer, Otte, etc.
The Dou had made concerts in Greece, Austria, Macedonia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland etc. The latest Duo’s concert in abroad earned the artists a list of invitations for following concerts abroad.
The Duo presented their first CD on the 11th of April 2008.
